Multicultural Fair & Parent Night
5:30-7:00 p.m.

Part of a week-long celebration, the event will feature displays created by students based on their research into different countries. During the school day, students will receive a passport and luggage and will “travel” to four different countries. They will engage in interactive lessons and leave each country with an artifact or “memory object.” At the evening event, they will share what they’ve learned with their families and take them on travels of their own.

Each child will leave with a free book of his or her own. The evening will also include cultural dance performances by students, foods from around the world, and a slide show documenting the students’ work leading up to the fair.
