The Rochester City School District’s All-City Concert will take place Saturday, April 5 at 1:00 p.m. at East High School, 1801 Main St. East. It is free and open to the public.
Students from across the district are invited by their music teachers to participate in the concert, which has taken place for more than 20 years. Groups featured include Symphonic Band, Concert Band, Elementary Band, and Elementary Chorus.
The concert is presented by the Department of the Arts.
The Rochester City School District will hold its 10th Annual Storytelling Festival on Monday, April 7 from 6:30-9:00 p.m. at East High School, 1801 East Main Street. The event is free and open to the public.
Students from grades 3-8 who are the storytelling finalists from their schools will share their stories. Awards will be presented to the top storytellers.
The evening will also include a presentation by internationally known author and professional storyteller Rafe Martin.
The festival is presented by the Rochester School Library System.
