NEWS RELEASE – ROCHESTER CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT

Families of children who will be entering kindergarten or who are new to the Rochester City School District are invited to an Elementary School Fair to learn more about Rochester’s elementary schools before enrolling for next year.

The Fair will be held Saturday, April 5 at School of the Arts, 45 Prince Street, from 12:00-3:00 p.m. It is open to:

• Families of entering kindergartners
  
• Catholic school families of elementary-age children (grades K-6)
  
• Families whose children who will be entering a Rochester elementary school for the first time
  

The Fair is an opportunity for families to meet elementary school principals and staff, learn about the programs each school offers, and determine which schools provide the best educational fit for their children.

Entering kindergartners can be registered for school right at the Fair. New entrants to the District at other grade levels, including Catholic school students, will receive information on the elementary registration process. District staff will be on hand to answer questions and provide assistance.
