The Department of Workforce Preparation helps students of all ages learn the skills they need for success in the workplace and the world outside the classroom.

Through school-to-work activities, adult education, and family learning programs, students are prepared for lives as successful, productive citizens.

The department offers:

  • School-to-Work programs that provide career awareness and preparation for students in pre-K through grade 12.

  • Adult Education provides adult programs, family literacy, career exploration, job readiness training.

  • Continuing Education including training in a variety of skilled trades and in computers.
